Seeking a Slightly Nerdy Gentleman While I highly doubt that I'll meet that "special someone" here, I thought I might give it a shot. Besides, I'm young and have quite a life ahead of me. But it's just so darn fun to fill these sorts of things out, so who cares?

I'm a generally attractive, intelligent, funny, laid-back sort of lass. I have an affinity for sewing, reading, drawing, nonfiction, electronics and historical fashion. I'm energetic, but pretty low-maintenance, with a very level head. I'm pragmatic to the point of being Vulcan. I enjoy being nerdy, and am interested in possibly everything that exists on this planet, no matter how silly or inane. I try my best to be extremely polite, and have a bit of social anxiety (thus, I shall never be calling for pizza delivery). I'm extremely accepting, and I'm usually the person playing devil's advocate in the face of adversity. I love an intelligent argument.

I'm looking for someone caring and affectionate who's alright with a non-clingy, independent relationship. Ideally (and I mean that in a very strong sense) I'd love to find a slightly nerdy engineer with a fabulous beard who likes eating out at quaint restaurants, perusing thrift stores and discussing physics? Something along the lines of a modernized gentleman, for I was rather spoiled by having a most manly father. I don't expect, nor do I want, constant lovey-dovey text messages or expensive gifts every day. I expect a companion on an even level emotionally and intellectually who's respectful of differences that we (hypothetically) will have. If you appreciate me, I'll appreciate you.
