I am a grad student studying English literature. I love what I do, though wish I had more time to pursue my creative writing which is on the backburner while I work on my scholarly writing. I teach part-time. For me the most rewarding part of my job is working with a gifted student that does not realize she/he is gifted --it's fun to be the person to point it out to them what they are capable of and push them even further.

Dating for me is difficult because I am waiting. I've had a few relationships with men who were not waiting themselves but who were willing to wait for me --to a point. I never resented these men for their decisions as I think everyone needs to do right by themselves, which is why I am on this site. Rather than trying to force a relationship with someone who has different priorities, needs, and wants than I, I am looking to befriend, get to know, and possibly date if it feels right, a man who is saving himself as well. I am also interested in making friends who understand and support my decision to save myself, and who understand how difficult that decision can be.
