I'm looking for a fellow Christian man, first and foremost, and also a nonsmoker. Someone who has an occasional sip or two of alcohol may be all right, but I'm looking for a date, not a drinking buddy.
I play a variety of games, depending on my mood, and I watch a fair amount of TV as well. I also enjoy movies, but not as often; my favorites are either animated or action-comedy mixes (actually, most animated movies are action-comedy mixes, too).
I've got a papillon named Hiro (no, not like the one from Heroes...) and I'm a bit of an animal nut overall. I can be a bit of a hippy, as I try to not waste, recycle, and would absolutely LOVE an electric car, but I've yet to convert to vegetarianism. I have a tendency to be brutally honest, which has lead to more than one joke being taken far too seriously; I usually don't mean to offend.
And though it may be shallow to include appearances here, I'll also say I want someone in moderate shape, slender to average to slightly atheletic; I'm not a fan of the buff-and-beefy or extra-large body types. I also prefer a clean shave without tatoos or piercings, but other than that it's totally as-you-are. In fact, I prefer a guy who's more comfortable in jeans or sweatpants than a tux.
Overall, though, I want what any sane woman wants: someone who's nice, gentle, and loyal, with a good sense of humor and a little bit of wit. Someone who enjoys a quiet evening cuddled up on the couch, but doesn't get jealous if I hug the dog, too. Someone who shares my nerdiness, who could see himself settling down and marrying in a few years, but who isn't in a rush and is willing to take things as they go, as I'm slow to warm up, but also slow to cool off once I've made up my
