I love a good book, to tackle a challenging calculus problem, to take a long, hard hike on a winding trail, to draw and knit, to play, to raise animals... and I love to sing. Whether or not I'm any good is beyond my concern. I'm into a lot of different things.

Honesty is important to me. Arts of all kinds along with science and math, nature and all that implies (except sex, hilariously,) are of great interest to me. I'm as open as I know how to be, and don't care what religion or spirituality you are, what you study or who your friends are, just so long as you're decent at heart and accepting.

Okay, I am human, and have a tendency to be judgmental, but what's most important to me above all things is the respect for life. I'm not talking in an anti-abortion sense, I mean in a universal sense. I'm sincerely bothered when people crush a bug just because it happens to cross their path. I don't believe in war. Hunting for sport is the most disgusting hobby imaginable--I'd rather people be into b d s m than that. These are the things that are important to me--I'd hope for them to be important to my SO as well.

I'm in school currently with my AA, heading for a bachelor's in math and certification in secondary education. I'm mostly independent, but I still live with my parents so that I can save up for my own house rather than blow money away on renting. This also allows me to care for my pets... dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, cockatiels, a lovebird and fish. I wasn't kidding when I said I love raising animals. =]
