I found this site and thought, why not give it a try!
At this point in my life, I'm really just looking for companionship, a partnership type of relationship. But even those require compatibility to make it successful. One of the key ingredients, for me, would be someone who listens. Listening seems to be a lost art these days and yet it's SO important for both people to listen to each other and not be a constant interrupter. Mutual respect, support and kindness are other qualities I feel strongly about, as well as a good sense of humor. I'm an affectionate person, a 'hugger', so even though it's not necessarily a 'romantic/intimate' relationship, human connection, affection & touch are still important.
About me ... I'm a single, never married 62-year-old woman with no children. No human children that is, lol. I have 2 cats, Joey & Jack, and I love my boys with all my heart. I'm a very responsible cat Mom and try to give them the best care possible. I have a passion for cats so anyone I'd share my life with would have to feel the same way or at least be understanding and accepting of that. I'm employed full-time, have my own car, am very responsible with bills and currently rent an apartment in Ashland. I have a roommate to help with costs, but we lead very separate lives. I would much rather live alone or with the right 'partner' but having someone to share expenses allows me to do more than just work and pay bills. You have to have a little fun too!
I think that's all I say for now and leave the rest for in person conversation should there be any interest. The only thing I'll add before I go is, if you're a supporter of the current political administration I can assure you we would NOT get along so please let's not waste each other's time
