I am interested in this community because I believe that we all deserve better. We deserve better than to have to prove our worth to people through transactional sex, the acquisition of titles, credentials, material with, and clout to prove that we are worthy partners.

Since I was a child, I worked hard. I thought that studying hard, going to an Ivy League school, getting a high paying career, and working out would make me an ideal partner. What I realize now is that I devoted my time so much to being part of the machine that I lost myself and the things I love. I am a creative person. I am highly sensitive. I am passionate. I love. But when we are treated as machines, none of that matters.

Often times, --- is a distraction. It’s great, but I would really like to get to know someone before becoming that vulnerable again. What about intellectual connection, soul connection?
