I am a support worker working with people with learning disabilites. I have many interests, primarily around helping people to know or help themself. I am also an Astrologer, Hypnotherapist, Healer, and learner palmist.
I have lived in a few areas of Britain, in South Africa and in WA, USA. I like to experience life as best I can, which, unfortunately, has not come without some consequences - but nothing drastic, nothing that a sharing of my love of experiencing life cannot heal. I am quiet, but come out of my shell in the right company, I have an obscure sense of humour - I can find humour in most things - my humour is to some extent pythonesque.
I'd like to think that I am caring, loving, sensitive of other people's feelings and can talk about most subjects, apart from soaps, romantic novels or politics, my apologies. I love to learn and hear other people's point of view about anything but I detest arrogance, dislike discourtesy and deplore quarreling, I'm old fashioned to some extent.
Sex is not important to me, it's nice but knowing one another, accepting one another - warts 'n all, being able to give each other what they need yet allow each other space, to share trust, ideas, plans, goals, passions is more important. I'm not interested in a power struggle, you'd win but the relationship would die sooner or later because I would choke myself with my own compliance.
