suddenly...celibacy? Who would have thought? Gradually it creeps up and then at a certain point: celibacy. Leave it to cyberspace to find the positive side of a negative!

I'm 65, a member of the babyboomer generation, and what I guess must now be called the Viagra generation (for the record, I've never used it). Still getting used to the idea of celibacy, with a few questions mostly pertaining to definition. Obviously I'm new to the concept, but I'm thinking here of possible parallels to vegetarianism (I'm not one), where a continuum exists from vegan at one end to dairy vegetarian and fish-only.

My story is lengthy, but a few essentials: 5'9, 230 lbs.; divorced eleven years; two children basically out of the house; in my twentieth year at a sales job. Originally from New York City, I've enjoyed my time in Michigan but am open to relocating.

I'm interested in things political, musical, cinematic, theatrical, and sporting. And a bit of a "foodie." A political conservative, but a fairly independent one. For better or worse, I've got lots of opinions, but hopefully not much that can't be discussed in a civil manner.

I've joined this site because I have a strong desire for female companionship and look forward to this new experience.
