I am an early retiree, moved recently from Seattle area mostly for weather. Divorced. Love dogs/cats. Live with sister and her husband; don't really know anyone else. I think I'm "too young to be old, and too old to be young" and seek people who feel like they don't quite fit in a lot. I'm not weird or strange; I just don't always flow with the crowd. I'm happy to wake up every morning and love to be with people who are pretty much content and stress free. I love nature, libraries/book stores, visiting new places, reading, writing, dining in/out (though recently have lost 30 lbs. and try to live healthy each day) go to movies and generally leave my life open to lots of interesting things. Like a lot of people, I've had experiences that have left me with some cautious feelings, but I feel ready to socially make some new friends in a new place.
