As of 12/16/10, I have been celibate 16 months. The funny thing about it is that I became celibate after a friend told me that he had not been se---lly active in 9 years. I thought if he can do it so can I.
I am a Social Worker, working with children and families. I have chosen to live a vegetarian lifestyl for the past year. When I am not spending time with my family, friends, or partying, I enjoy pondering on what I am going to wear next time I go out.
As far as being celibate, I have to point out that this lifestyle choice is one that I make reluctantly. Igot tired of a feeling of emptiness after a relationship did not work out or when I could not even say that my partner and I were friends if the relationship desolved. I am currently hoping and praying for a life partner...someone who is willing to share and who I can comfortably share my life with. I believe in emotional intimacy before physical intimacy. Who's with me?
