Into the Wild anyone? ( without the tragic ending ) I was briefly married and love my two grown daughters and five grandchildren. All my life I have had my pets for companionship, mostly dogs and horses. My children who have seen me overcome a few health challenges worry about me being old and alone in my future.
I would love to find a companion my age or older to enjoy life with but since I am asexual I haven't met anyone in my circle of work and friends who would be comfortable in a celibate relationship. I am too happy in my own life to fake it again like I did when I was 19. My blog is mustanghermit 2015.
I love my work in education, have summers free to visit family and ride /train my horses. Arts, history, healthy living, organic gardening/farming and politics interest me. ( think 1970 Mother Earth News type)
I am a Christian and have been attending an evenagelical Quaker Church for several years and find myslef very comfortable with their non-doctrine of inner light and individual messages to believers. I stumbled onto exploring Quakerism as I struggled to find a church home that did not mirror far right wing thoughts but still allowed for serious faith explorations ( not church light like some established mainstream congregations have become)
Ilove all nature, camping, used to fish quite a bit before the horses took so much time. My perfect retirement would be to live secluded in the wilderness observing and marveling at God's creation daily. I will complete this plan on my own but I know my daughters would rest easier if I could find someone who has the same vision to join me.
