Hi everyone,
I'm a doctoral researcher in sociology at the University of Glasgow in the UK.
I'm posting this message in the hope that some of you might be interested in taking part in a social research project which explores the experiences of people who are abstinent or celibate, or are choosing not to be s----l for whatever reason. I'm doing this research because there is little to no research which looks at celibacy or abstinence from the experiences of people who are celibate or abstinent themselves, and I think this is a really important thing to address.
The research would be in the form of an in-person interview with myself, which will last about 90 minutes.
Since I'm based in the UK, I'd really like to speak to people who are also in the UK! You also must be over 18 to take part.

The research has been approved by the University of Glasgow's institutional ethical review board, and it is funded by the Economic and Social Research council of the UK.
If you would like more details of the study and what it would involve, please email me at: (removed) and I can send you a much more detailed information sheet. Contacting me does not mean you are committing yourself to taking part - it is absolutely fine if you decide not to take part after reading the information sheet!
Hope to hear from some of you soon!
Best wishes,
