Anybody out there ever heard about s----l Anorexia?

Regular anorexia is when individuals, usually female, develop the mental & physical capacity to starve themselves. They stop eating and start to waste away. But the individuals don't really understand/realise that they are in trouble, almost dead. It can be a serious disorder.

Now there are some books/theories/studies cropping up saying that some individuals suffer from s----l anorexia. but it's very difficult to diagnose and treat because it is normally NOT seen as a problem or even recognized as a disorder.

Is there anybody who thinks that celibacy can sometimes be an illness? What happens to people who are celibate because they have extreme anxiety or other issues that prevent them from being intimate?

I have been celibate for years now, I'm in my mid-30s. I've run the gamut between wanting to be s----l to being aggressively proud of my nonsexuality. Now, I just don't care. I live my life and rarely think of S-- anymore. But sometimes...I do wonder what my life would be like......
